I've just started using my APX600. The action seems a bit high and the strings are on the thick side, so I got some lighter strings and will be shaving the back bridge down a bit. Hoping it doesn't get too loosey-goosey.

While I appreciate how cool this thing is. Nothing is cooler than using a real Stratocaster, a real Telecaster, are real Les Paul, a real Rickenbacker etc. The visual aesthetic adds a certain something to the appeal. 3D Holographic guitars will be the next major evolution. The sounds and the looks in one complete package that can be configured to weigh as much as you like.

My sister lives in Fallston, and so I get to listen to your terrestrial signal on the occasions that I'm there...I bounced around a bit growing up, so I can say with some authority that North Carolina has always punched way above its weight in broadcasting as a whole. As a child I lived in Raleigh and listened to WKIX with Pat Patterson, Dale Van Horn, Charlie Brown and the rest. I skip monitored stations from all over, especially WJR Detroit with their HoF DJ lineup...Both of you are correct. Radio (all of it, but especially AM) went from being cheescake to sponge cake, to stale bread to recycled plaster over the past few decades. I found WSVM quite by fate, and I'm glad I did. I'm retired and live in the Philippines now, but I still tune in on occasion via the Radio Garden app. And I'm happy to report that the buffering is minimal, even compared to some of the local stations...Great work both, and keep on Max Booming!...

I have a 6mm stone iv had unsuccessful surgery I have to go back for another surgery to try and remove it they couldn’t remove it because of an infection just wondering why I need surgery if people pass bigger stones ?

Recently I took ES-135 clone in on trade, yup it has a 50s style fat C neck (thicker than my 76 Hummingbird 12 string). How many mm or 100ths inch can I shave it down without any damage or weakness?

Hi everyone. I've been using a Yamaha MG10xu for my small living room setup but would like to upgrade to a small digital mixer. Being in the living room, size is very important but of course, so is sound quality and ease of use. I'm currently running a digital piano 2x1/4"), a sound module (2 XLR), a DAC (2XLR), a mic and stereo guitar. The CQ-12t actually has enough inputs but doesn't have wifi (which I don't need right now) and only 2 effects vs 4 on the 18t and 20b. If the iPad app works fine, do you think it would make sense to buy a 20b and save $200 or should I just bite the bullet and buy the 18t? The Zoom L20r is also a possibility but would the A&H sound that much better (for my use)? I'd really appreciate your input!

There is also a powering system for this guitar. You do have to buy a special cord that line six made for this powering system for the variax standard that plugs into the guitar and from the powering unit you plug into your amp/pedals with a regular cable.

You may think I'm nuts. But, I bought an EGO Power+ AB2101 21-Inch Lawn Mower High Lift Blade and filed it to fit the Atlas 80v mower. It uses a little bit more battery power, but the vacuum is way better which means a better cut. This blade is for bagging and side shoot only. Not for mulching. Just thought I'd share.....

I now own two JTV-69S Variax guitars. Line 6 no longer makes or fully supports these guitars. They will support as best they can if you have any L6 gear but the Variax dev team is ancient history now. A real shame since Yamaha said that they were not interested in continuing to develop it. So I will not buy the Yamaha version. There is still so much potential with better modeling assisted by machine learning and AI, more wiring options for volume pot treble bleed, on-board EQ, mid-EQ boost, Alnico 2, 3, 4, and 5 modellinig options, body chambering, body wood options, neck wood options, and more. None of this was ever implemented but the HD Workbench takes you pretty far and you can wire the pickups in sequence or parrallel modes as well with the workbench software, though I thought that it could be even better than they implemented that feature. And, of course, the much wished for wireless VDI which was possible and feasible but never implemented. There truly is no other guitar like the Variax. And for the price, unrivalled. But there is an inherent mistrust of any guitar designed after 1960 amoung electric guitar players.
